Project title: "ETHNOTUR: discover culture of the cross-border regions of Poland and Ukraine"Project number: PBU2 / 0929/18The total budget of the project is 59 650 euros The project aims to preserve and promote the culture and traditions of the Lemkos and Lasovians of the border regions of Ukraine and Poland, in particular the Perechyn City Territorial Community (Ukraine) and the Leżajsk Commune (Poland). The project was implemented with the support of the Cross-Border Cooperation Program "Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020". During the implementation, tourist products were created aimed at presenting the history and culture of the Lemkos and Lasovians.The project activities in Ukraine acquainted the residents and guests of the Perechyn community with the rich and original culture of the Lemkos, including their cultural heritage, life and key personalities of the region through the creation of a photo exhibition and research of Lemko cultural heritage. The main activities of the project:• Elaboration of the concept of development of the Museum of Local Ethnographic Museum of Perechyn and training for employees of museums of Transcarpathia (in Ukraine)• Development of the website "Heritage of Lemkos and Lasovyaks"• Creation of photo exhibitions (Ukraine, Poland).• Establishment of traditional handicrafts, pottery and weaving clubs for school-age children in Ukraine and carving and painting in Poland• International Cultural ForumsThe project has contributed to the development of ethnocultural tourism in border areas, improving the image and attractiveness of partner communities. MAIN BENEFICIARYPerechyn City CouncilUkraine, Zakarpattia region, Perechyn, Sq.
